A Quick Bio
Since I completed my graduate degree in Food Studies and Gastronomy from Boston University I've been a Culinary Instructor, a Food Consultant, a Corporate Chef, and a Cheesemonger. Recently I found myself happily working at a chocolate factory developing new kinds of stone ground chocolate.
I was born in Toronto, and spent a good chunk of my late childhood living on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. My undergrad degree is from the University of Toronto, where I received a BA with a double major in Studio Art and English. The last year of my degree my studio projects revolved around food, which prompted me to pursue a culinary degree from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts.
In my spare time I shelve drum & bass records, although beat matching still alludes me. I live in Somerville MA, my cats three cats are all overweight, and I prefer tea over coffee.
