Recently I completed my thesis for a MLA in Food Studies and Gastronomy at Boston University. I was born in Toronto, and spent a good chunk of my late childhood living on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. My undergrad degree is from the University of Toronto, where I received a BA with a double major in Visual Studies (aka Studio Art) and English in 2007. The last year of my degree most of my studio projects revolved around food. This prompted me to pursue a culinary degree from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, which I completed in early 2008.
In my spare time I shelve drum & bass records, although beat matching still alludes me. I live in Boston right now, but I try to travel frequently. My guinea pig Henry turned four years old at the beginning of September, and I prefer tea over coffee.
